It's a well-known fact that women who live together or who are very close will often begin to cycle together. And no, I don't mean ride their bikes together!
I am beginning to think that this theory might also prove true with almost-teen boys as well. Possibly toddler girls too! And that's probably all I should say. Otherwise, I may end up with a child who is moody, teary, slamming doors and feeling overwhelmed. Oh wait! I already have that! (Actually, I have two of those . . . although Halle tends to fall to the floor dramatically and weep that she is unable to walk by herself versus slam doors. Just saying!)
The long and short of it? Adjusting to being back at school is sometimes difficult for my kiddos.
I, on the other hand? Got so much work done this week that I can barely stand it! And I had some time alone. ALONE!
Now, since it's Friday and I'm off work, I have a serious itch to organize something. Namely my photos. Both the actual photos and my digital images. I got a new external hard-drive and I want to clean some stuff up and then back it all up (again). I'm also considering an online back-up system. And I found that in the great photo organization of 2007 that I missed an entire photo-box. Arrghhhh. Nesting fail! So I have piles of photos spread across the floor. As seen here:
But what is really pulling at me is my girl. It's a girls' day (at least until noon), so my puttering must wait. And this is what/where I'll be focusing:
Bring on the sidewalk paint (equal parts of cornstarch and water, add food coloring), Barbies and My Little Ponies! Happy Friday!
