OK, so I can't count!

My two week blogging break turned into a three-four week break. Oh, well . . .  life happens!

So, we're due for a quick re-cap of the last few weeks . . .

• Dylan started baseball, which is my favorite of the sports he plays.  It means summer is coming and I am looking forward to that! He's doing great and having fun.
• I went to a new dentist.  While that normally wouldn't make the re-cap, you have to understand that it was more like going to a spa.  They give you yummy lip balm and a paraffin wax treatment for your hands while you're getting a cleaning!
• I directed our Children's Choir at church on Easter Sunday.  Again, only making the list because I have no idea how to direct a choir.  Faker, faker!
• Dylan's Spring Break came and went.  We stayed in town and did "on fun thing per day" which consisted of ceramics, miniature golf, the movies, Farmer's Market, Chuck E. Cheese and the park.  I was glad when Spring Break was over!
• I went to Newport Beach for work for five days.  I took Dylan and my Mom with me for a mini-vacation.  It was wonderful!
• While in Newport Beach, I surprised Dylan with a day at Disneyland.  He had no idea how close we were and it was a ton of fun to spend about 10 hours at Disney, just doing his favorite things (and eating my way through the park and Downtown Disney).

And finally, the big news of the past few weeks is . . . survey says, we're having a girl!  So that is still sinking in.  I haven't bought anything yet, although John has!  We're excited.  All of my cousins and my sister and I have only had boys.  So it's fun and new AND I can still say that Dylan is my favorite son and not feel guilty!

Anyway, I'm going to get back to blogging more regularly and I'll get some photos up from the last few weeks at some point soon.  As for now, I'm back to work and getting ready for a big Friday night out on the town . . . at the bowling alley!  We're celebrating my birthday (which is tomorrow) a day early and having a white trash wedding birthday.  Complete with chili dogs and nachos and cheap beer (for everyone but me).

Congrats on finding out you're having a girl. Glad to see you're back to blogging.
